WHAT IS TTNABS?
TTNABS is an acronym for Touch the Nations Apostolic Bible School. The TTNABS curriculum is based on various apostolic resources.
WILL THE COURSE GIVE ME CREDITS FOR UNIVERSITY?
At this time, this course is not as yet accredited by any university.
DOES THE COURSE DEAL WITH FOUNDATIONAL ASPECTS OF DOCTRINE?
Yes, to a degree. More basic concepts will be written into the TTNABS curriculum in the near future, as the course is a dynamic and ever evolving review. The course’s main emphasis is the reformation of the church, based on an apostolic perspective.
CAN NEW CONVERTS SUBSCRIBE TO THE COURSE?
Yes. It is vital that new converts be thrust in to a word-based culture from the very beginning. Exposure to the depths of scripture is a powerful way of maintaining the passion of new believers and to propel them into ministry.
HOW LONG DOES THE COURSE TAKE?
The course currently consists of a first year and second year syllabus, with a third year in planning. Each year’s course consists of 33 lessons at the time of print, but may change, as the course is dynamic in nature.
WILL TTNABS TEACH ME EVERYTHING ABOUT THE APOSTOLIC REFORMATION?
No. The TTNABS intends to set you on the path of investigative learning. It highlights areas that require reformation in mind-sets.
COULD I BECOME THE LEADER OF A CHURCH WHEN I GRADUATE FROM TTNABS?
As you engage in the course, you will realize that it moves the individual from documental validation to lifestyle validation. The call to be a leader of a church is no longer based on documentation alone, but fruits borne in the local church and reliable witnesses in your local church affirming the call. It is only the voice of the father that can release a son into ministry (consider Jesus at the Jordan).
WILL I OBTAIN A CERTIFICATE AT THE END OF TTNABS?
Yes. However, as mentioned, the main aim of TTNABS is not documental validation, that is certification, but lifestyle validation which is maturity and perfection – Christ-likeness.
HOW IS TTNABS DIFFERENT FROM A TYPICAL BIBLE SCHOOL?
The lessons are both instructional and interactive. The student develops in the culture of City Church and his local church. The student must become a son (male or female son) of a spiritual father in the local household, and propagate the vision of that house and the City Church.
CAN ANYONE DO THE COURSE?
No. Only those who are really hungry for God’s word.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I FINISH THE COURSE?
The only time you are recognised as having finished the course is when you are living the principles and able to teach others the principles of the course.
